Canton Community Fund Awarded $25,000 Challenge Grant

The Northern New York Community Foundation and Peter and Katherine Wyckoff have generously teamed up to provide $25,000 to the Canton Community Fund (CCF). With this funding, every dollar donated to the Canton Community fund over the next five years will be matched, doubling all donations up to $25,000. This means that over the next five years, the CCF's endowment could grow by up to $50,000, substantially increasing our ability to provide grants to organizations in the Canton community.

The Canton Community Fund is a non-profit organization operating under the auspices of the Northern NY Community Foundation. The Fund seeks to support local projects that sustain or improve the life of our community. We believe that Canton, New York is a wonderful place to live, work, study, and play. The community can truly thrive when resources are available to individuals and groups that serve vulnerable neighbors and create initiatives to build community through education, the arts, and empowerment of all kinds.
