Introducing the Canton Community Fund

For over ten years, the Canton Community Fund has worked to keep Canton an attractive and vibrant place to live and work.

Unlike most service groups, we are open to any sort of appeal that aims to sustain or improve the life of the community. Please take a moment to read through our Web site. I know you will be impressed at the wide variety of programs the Fund has initiated or supported.

The Canton Fund operates under the auspices of the Northern New York Community Foundation (NNYCF) and is considered the model for other local funds to emulate in the North Country. You can read NNYCF Director Rande Richardson’s comments about the Canton Fund, along with words from other community leaders who have enthusiastically endorsed our efforts.

Please consider becoming a lead donor to the Canton Fund or establishing a bequest for the Fund. If you have fond memories of growing up in small–town America, consider how important the Canton Fund has become to maintaining that quality of life.
